The Sierra Sun is looking for a goal oriented, well-organized multimedia sales professional with exceptional customer service skills. As an Advertising Account Manager, you will have a good working knowledge of the local market and love the unique opportunities the Truckee-Tahoe region provides to give you the ultimate work/life balance. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): •Sell digital and print marketing solutions to local established businesses.•Be able to prospect, develop and grow new accounts. •Keep accounts payable within company goals. •Develop creative advertising campaigns on a regular basis that will publish online or in print via regional newspapers and magazines. •Work in a timely manner and meet all established deadlines. •Attend sales and other community meetings as required (on a timely basis). Qualifications: •College degree preferred. •Prior sales experience a plus. •Strong ability to develop new relationships.•Must have good communication skills. •Type a minimum of 40 words per minute accurately. •Good spelling and grammar skills. •Basic computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office. Guaranteed base salary is $40-$45k with additional unlimited monthly bonus opportunities! The job is based in North Lake Tahoe/Truckee with work-from-home flexibility for top sellers.
