NOW HIRING – Field Operations Mechanical Technician I/II South Tahoe Public Utility District is seeking a Field Operations Mechanical Technician I/II. Under supervision, this position operates and maintains water wells, booster and sewer pump stations, reclaimed and potable water storage tanks, control valves, and related equipment. Maintains operational and repair records. Competitive Wages & Benefits: • Mechanical Tech I: $88,204 – $112,574 annually • Mechanical Tech II: $72,070 – $91,982 annually Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Field Operations Mechanical Tech I requires one-year of related field experience and Field Operations Mechanical Tech II requires three years’ experience. Field Operations Mechanical Tech I requires the ability to obtain Certification Grade D1 Water Distribution Operator and Grade T1 Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification from the State of California, within thirty-six (36) months from hire date.
