The Town of Truckee is currently accepting applications for Seasonal Street Maintenance Worker II Winter Snow Removal Positions. Candidates must be responsible and able to work in a skilled and independent manner without close supervision. Must be able to communicate well with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
Duties include routine and skilled heavy physical labor in the maintenance and repair of Town streets, drainage facilities, and rights-of-way. Must possess two (2) years experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment used in the performance of street maintenance and snow removal. Knowledge of Town road system a plus. A minimum of a Class B driver’s license is desired. Applicants without a CDL that possess experience operating heavy equipment including: Front end Loaders, Motor Graders, and Split pack Snow Blowers will be considered. Successful candidates with a CDL will be enrolled in the Town’s random drug and alcohol testing program, as required by the Department of Transportation.
